Leadership Coaching

My Story

My Story

For a long time, I was the go to person in all areas of my life.

At work, I was the dependable one. The fixer. The one who anticipated what could go wrong and made sure it didn’t. At home, I carried the invisible weight — the calendar, the emotional temperature, the mental checklist that never, EVER stopped.

I was strong.
I was capable.
I was exhausted.

I told myself this is just what high-achieving women do. This is what good moms do. You hold it all. You don’t drop balls. You don’t complain.

But underneath the competence, I felt stretched thin and quietly resentful.

Not resentful of my family.
Not resentful of my career

Resentful that I couldn’t seem to find myself inside of it all.

I was over-functioning everywhere. If something needed doing, I did it. If someone struggled, I stepped in. If there was a gap, I filled it. I confused self-sacrifice with doing a good job. I thought being needed meant being valuable.

And I was slowly disappearing.

I knew I needed a change, but I didn’t know what that meant. I just knew I couldn’t keep living in that constant hum of pressure.

What I discovered

When coaching entered my life, I didn’t realize I was about to unravel an entire identity.

I began to see that so much of my “strength” was actually fear — fear that if I didn’t hold it all together, everything would fall apart. I learned to regulate instead of push. To pause instead of react. To ask for help without feeling weak.

I dismantled the old paradigm that said a good woman carries it all.

At work, I started delegating differently. Not from burnout, but from trust. I empowered those around me instead of rescuing them. And the beautiful irony? They grew. I grew. The work got better

At home, I stopped running the household from a place of martyrdom. I let myself plug in instead of managing from the sidelines. I became more present. Softer. More available.

And the biggest shift of all?

The resentment disappeared.

My energy came back.
My joy came back.
My sense of myself came back.

I am still ambitious.
I am still driven.
I still care deeply.

But I no longer believe I have to earn my worth through exhaustion.

Today, I am a person who trusts.
A mother who plugs in.
A woman who sets boundaries without guilt.

I don’t over-function anymore.
I lead with intention.
I live with alignment

And that identity shift changed everything

If this resonates, there’s a specific pattern underneath it—and it can be shifted.

In a private session, we’ll identify where you’re over-functioning, what it’s costing you, and the one shift that will change how you lead at work and show up at home.

This isn’t about doing less. It’s about becoming a different kind of leader in your life.
